Kaimana Beach is this small beach kind of tucked away at the end of Waikiki, towards Diamond Head. This is a really fun beach to spend time at because of its location and it's overall atmosphere. It's just a fun place to be, it feels like this small and special book that you are at. The water is cool, but not too cold, the weather is almost always sunny with fresh breeze. There are public showers available small shops to get snacks, and even restaurants right on the beach. There's a bike lane to get here and a huge park just inland. This is a beautiful spot to visit in Waikiki. Not rocky like other beaches. You're welcomed by shallow, calm water. Not as crowded as Waikiki beach.Just a walk from Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium.

The park side offers big grassy areas for get togethers and barbecues, while the beach offers a smallish sandy area and not a lot of reef. There is a good combination of tourists and locals and on the weekends, the music from the parties at the park can be heard while you sit on the beach.

Kaimana Beach, also known as San Souci, is the last local beach in Honolulu. This precious place has been the target of commercial interests for decades, and only by grassroots action has the community been able to preserve the simple elegance of this wonderful gathering place and recreational area. The Kaimana Beach Coalition was created.

Water is beautiful in this area and not too crowded.Beautiful beach and good vibe.Great for swimming laps in the morning. Not crowded.

In 1902 Kaimana Beach was the historic site for the state's first submarine cable providing a telegraphic link between Hawaii and the U.S. mainland.

There is a snorkel spot to the left by the rocks near the hotel. It's not great but there are fish and sometimes a turtle. Swim out a bit

The sunsets here are spectacular!
